FAQ
What is The Waiting Room?
The Waiting Room is a monthly mail club created in Bangkok, Thailand.
Each month explores a different piece of Bangkok and Thai life through original artwork, illustrations, stories, paper goods, and other little surprises delivered through the mail.
Think of it as receiving a small piece of Bangkok in your mailbox every month.
What comes in my monthly mail?
Every month is a little different!
Your envelope may include original prints, illustrations, postcards, stickers, written stories, cultural observations, and other paper goods connected to that month's theme.
Part of the fun of The Waiting Room is not knowing exactly what will be waiting for you.
Is everything designed by you?
Yes. The Waiting Room is an independent creative project, with each month's collection thoughtfully designed and curated around life, culture, and everyday moments in Thailand.
Where does my mail come from?
Your Waiting Room mail is prepared and sent from Bangkok, Thailand.
That means your envelope really is traveling from Bangkok to your mailbox.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! The Waiting Room is designed to travel.
International shipping availability and rates may vary depending on your destination.
How long does shipping take?
Delivery times depend heavily on the destination and postal service.
Because orders are sent from Thailand, international mail may take several weeks to arrive. Customs, holidays, weather, and local postal delays can occasionally make delivery take longer.
Part of joining an international mail club is embracing a little bit of waiting—hence the name!
When will my first mail be sent?
Join by the 30th of the month to receive that month's edition. Orders placed after the cutoff will begin with the following month's edition.Â
We send our mail on the first of every month.
Will I receive tracking?
Most Waiting Room mail is sent using standard postal mail and does not include tracking.
